    Free of additives, purely mechanically processed and fully circular. As a renewable raw material, Silentum saves significantly more CO2 compared to synthetic insulation materials2 a.

    The keratin in the wool binds and permanently neutralises pollutants such as formaldehyde, and not just during installation. The closer it is installed to the interior, the stronger the effect. Ideal for schools, offices and healthcare spaces.

    Biocide-free protection against wool pests: The exclusive, plasma-based and patent-protected process permanently alters the wool fibre, entirely without chemical additives. Long-term laboratory tested in accordance with EAD/CUAP.

  • Regulates moisture

    Virgin sheep's wool absorbs moisture and releases it again. It is vapour-permeable (µ = 1) and water-repellent thanks to lanolin. This creates a naturally balanced indoor climate, completely without technology.

  • Refines the acoustics

    Sheep's wool absorbs sound. The perforation of the felt controls how much sound penetrates the wool fibre and is absorbed. As a wall felt („wallpaper“), Silentum achieves a sound absorption of αw = 0.60 (H) according to ÖNORM EN ISO 11654. For quiet, clear-sounding rooms instead of reverberation and echo.

The Silentum Nature Concept.

Nature was the inspiration for our new SILENTUM product lines. For SILENTUM we deliberately rely on Central European sheep's wool, primarily from Germany, Austria, Spain and Greece. Short transport routes, traceable origins and long-standing partnerships ensure a quality we can rely on and a raw material whose origin remains known.

Nature in its most pristine form.

100 % undyed virgin sheep’s wool with pronounced mottling. The colouring comes solely from the natural tones of the fibre – without any dyeing or additives. As the availability and colour of the wool vary from shearing to shearing, every batch is unique: sometimes lighter, sometimes darker, always shaped by the weather and its origin.

With the Select Service, these Vegetable Matter Particles in the felts of the Pure and Color lines removed by hand one by one. Precise tweezers work ensures an exceptionally pure and homogeneous surface that cannot be achieved by machine.
