Sheep's wool actively regulates even high levels of moisture

Imagine your customers moving into their new tiny house. The heating is on. They cook every day. They shower in the morning. 2-3 litres of moisture per day.
And now it's all about the insulation.

Because moisture determines the quality of living.

Mineral wool hardly absorbs any moisture (≈ 1 %). The low value belies the actual problem: it has no fibre structure that can actively transfer moisture. Penetrating moisture remains between the fibres, significantly reducing the insulation performance. The result: condensation, cold walls and the risk of mould.

Plant-based insulation materials such as cellulose, soft wood fibre or hemp can absorb more moisture than mineral wool. The risk of moisture problems is reduced, but cannot be ruled out, as the insulation performance also decreases noticeably with higher moisture loads.

Tiny Houses have different requirements than traditional buildings: thin walls, strict weight limits and high acoustic sensitivity in a small space.

Many insulation materials only focus on individual aspectsGlass wool achieves good insulation values, but is comparatively heavy. Jute and hemp are lightweight, but usually lag behind in terms of insulation performance. Cellulose blow-in insulation is practical, but significantly increases the mass of the building component.

The Tiny House in particular quickly creates a Conflict of objectives.
