Daycare centre Havelländer Ring, DE
The Havelländer Ring daycare centre in Berlin was realised as a modern new timber building and equipped with natural sheep's wool insulation in ceilings, interior and exterior walls as well as in the acoustic ceiling. This ecological construction method creates a healthy environment in which the children can feel completely at ease.
The acoustic ceilings used with sheep's wool insulation significantly reduce reverberation times, improve speech intelligibility and create a quiet playing atmosphere with a low construction height and at the same time a natural, diffusion-open material structure.
Client: District of Marzahn-Hellersdorf, Architect: Daniel Gräschke, DE
