Using natural materials and in harmony with the surroundings, a living space was created that combines healthy living and a real feel-good factor.
This extraordinary project shows how Natural building and Sustainable living with the charm of times gone by. The focus was on the careful transformation of a old tobacco barn into a modern living space - with the aim of not only being functional and aesthetically pleasing, but also harmonising with the environment.
The original character of the building was deliberately preserved: Visible wooden beams, historic brick walls and the striking roof structure still tell the story of the barn today. These elements have been harmoniously integrated into the new design so that Old and new form a harmonious unit.
Inside, the house impresses with a well thought-out room layout that meets modern living requirements without losing its authentic charm. Generous window areas provide Light-flooded rooms and create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The near-natural approach was also consistently continued in the outdoor area. The Garden combines organic design with functional, sustainable elements: Raised beds, a natural pond and solar panels on the roof make the property not only ecologically sensible, but also an attractive place to live. More on the topic
Are you planning to build a house, an extension or a renovation? If healthy materials are important to you, you will also be thinking about sheep's wool insulation. We will help you to understand sheep's wool as an insulating material, dispel concerns and prejudices and share with you the experience from our development and numerous construction projects.
The decision in favour of the right insulation depends on many criteria, including the durability of the insulation material. After all, insulation is permanently installed and replacing it is time-consuming, expensive and nerve-wracking. Effective, durable and healthy wool protection that keeps pests away is an important aspect when choosing sheep's wool insulation.
Sheep's wool is the only naturally occurring insulating material that both keeps you warm and protects you from heat, cold and moisture. The uniqueness of the raw fibre sheep's wool also makes it a material with unique, natural advantages in its end product. At ISOLENA, our commitment, research and development provide even more benefits.
