Humanum" medical centre

The new "humanum" medical and therapy centre in Alkoven represents a significant milestone in healthcare provision in the region. After the ground-breaking ceremony in November 2023, the modern building opened its doors in October 2024 and has been offering both medical treatments and therapeutic services ever since.

With a total area of 820 m² the "humanum" medical and therapy centre offers the population of Alkoven modern medical care and space for a wide range of therapies. GPs and therapists have been on hand since the beginning of October 2024 to provide patients in the region with the best possible care.

The environmentally conscious and sustainable construction of the centre is particularly noteworthy. The building was constructed using timber and fulfils the highest ecological standards. A central element of this is the use of sheep's wool insulation. The innovative interior insulation not only ensures excellent insulation values, but also contributes to a pleasant indoor climate and thus makes an important contribution to the energy efficiency and CO2 reduction of the entire building. 2000 m² of ISOLENA Optimal insulation was used.

In addition to the environmentally friendly interior insulation, the building is equipped with modern, energy-efficient technologies, including a photovoltaic system, a heat pump and electric charging points.
