Nature meets dark elegance
Guntamatic is one of the most progressive manufacturers and providers of heating solutions. The Upper Austrian family business has been focussing on biomass and hybrid heating systems for almost 60 years. The biological and sustainable concept is also reflected in the modern office and competence centre.
"When we decided to renovate and expand our office and sales premises, we knew right from the start that sustainability was a top priority in this project," explains Alexander Dietach, Project Manager at Guntamatic GmbH.
"Even as we were putting the initial plans on paper, it was clear to everyone that a well-planned and Optimised room acoustics will make a major contribution to the success of the project," continues Dietach.
The renovated, spacious office and exhibition areas extend over two buildings and five rooms. The corridors were partially wallpapered with acoustic felt in light grey to avoid a hall effect. The grey felt was also laminated onto the cosy retreat booths.

The office and meeting rooms are dominated by modern, elegant furniture made of black steel and natural wood. Light grey felt has been skilfully used on the ceiling and walls to match.
The greatest succes of the project is that employees and customers feel comfortable in the modern yet cosy premises. The good sense of space contributes significantly to the good atmosphere.
