Teaching has been taking place at Dachsberg Grammar School for more than 100 years. A 1,200 m² extension with six new classrooms and a sports hall was built to accommodate the ever-increasing number of pupils.
"The teaching staff at ORG Dachsberg impart more than just traditional classroom knowledge: It's about heart education, ecological education and a sense of democracy. They teach that freedom means making decisions for the good of creation."
Director P. Ferdinand Karer describes 'his' grammar school in a touching, profound and passionate way.
This mindset suggests that creating an inspiring learning environment was not the only important factor in the extension of the school building. Sustainability and Environmental compatibility played a central role.
Accordingly, the Matulik architectural office worked with a lot of natural wood, which is visible on all sides. Well concealed, our ISOLENA Sheep's wool insulation The company also contributed to the success of the innovative construction project.
Spaces were created with a quality of stay and equipped with grey and green panels made of acoustic felt for Ambient sound and air quality taken care of. A successful lighting concept rounds off the room concept.
The extension building on the site of the former Dachsberg Castle represents a milestone in the development of the school. Future orientated and resource-saving was built here for this and future generations.
